I have become very convinced that yeasts, molds, and fungi, are the underlying problem for a multitude of diseases; not only in plants and animals but in us humans, especially auto-immune type diseases. underlying the proliferation of yeast problems are the vast amounts of wheat and sugar products sold to the public. If you look in any modern market you will realize that a large share of the products marketed to the public are made out of cheap wheat with cheap sugars and/or salt added for flavor and it makes up the majority of our calories. Think about it! Breads, cookies, crackers, chips, pasta, etc., and these products are then packaged and sold with a large profit margin for multinational corporations. These products not only pack on the pounds, they may also be addictive! If you take the information in this book to heart, it may just change your life dramatically for the bettor.Product details

Recaging The Beast edition by Jane Remington Religion Spirituality eBooks Reviews
Everything you need to know and more....concerning Candida Yeast and gut health and how unhealthy we american's actually are. Since I'm working with an amazing health and wellness company this book was very enlightening. I knew a lot of this but this book lays it out in a manner that everyone can understand it. Lets get healthier people!! This is a MUST READ book....I think everyone should read it.
I love this book. I am an ambassador #328919 for Plexus. This book is amazing at explaining so much about what we have living inside of us. It has reinforced what I do when I share that we are what we eat. I recommend this book to the health conscious individual that would like to make the necessary changes for their health.
Loved how the Bible correlates yeast as sin. Very interesting, but makes perfect sense! What an eye opener! My daughter had psoriasis all over her body for 5 yrs. With the combo of detoxing and an antifungal probiotic (Probio5) she's was FREE from being hostage.
I enjoyed most of the book. I get lost in some of the technical language, but for the most part the writer spoke in easy terms. Because I am a believer in Jesus Christ and the Bible in it's literal meaning, much of the writer's comparisons to biblical content was invalid. To her credit, she never claimed it to be truth, only her opinions. I am interested in trying the diet to see how it works for me, and I believe her information on fungus is point on.
This book started out OK but lost me early on. At about the same time, I bought the two NY Time bestsellers by the Medical Medium, Anthony William. Now we're talking. His two books have become my go-to reference guides for health and wellness. I'm going to donate Recaging the Beast to the library.
There were times that I thought really? How can yeast be that bad? But I began to put symptoms together from those I know and that have NOT found relief thru traditional means. Yeast makes sense. We are what we eat! Why does man think he can improve on what God has created?
Jane Remington's Recaging The Beast has changed the way I look at my diet, my lifestyle and my world. Ms. Remington makes a very powerful and persuasive argument that all diseases, not only in us humans but in animals and even plants, originate from a fungus. With over 100,000 species of fungi in the world, "the strain called Candida albicans is the one that gives us so much grief (p. 26)." To further quote the author (p. 176)
The death certificate may read "heart attack," "kidney failure," "pneumonia," "liver disease," "cancer," etc. but you can be sure Candida albicans was there first and created the environment needed for the disease to develop. Again, it is the "disease behind disease."
The book goes to great detail to explain how our lifestyles "far from the way our Creator intended us to live (p. 33)" have led us on a road of disease and destruction. More importantly, however, the book provides a path towards a healthy lifestyle. The author provides wide-ranging tips for better living, including a yeast-free diet, with recommendations as detailed as product names and with a list of foods to eliminate. She also provides natural strategies for fighting back against diseases instead of simply relying on pharmaceuticals, chemotherapy and the like, confirmed by her own experience as a cancer survivor.
Best of all, Ms. Remington gets her point across without concentrating too much on the technicalities or using difficult language. Anyone can read and understand the book and its significance for his or her life. The author exceeds her goal from page 22 of completing "a book on the subject of yeast to be written by a layperson for the layperson."
This book will benefit anyone who reads it and puts its suggestions into practice. I highly recommend the book for everyone, layperson or otherwise.
